Account and data deletion

1. Open the app, then open User or Settings.
2. Make sure you are signed in to the account you want to delete.
3. Choose Request account deletion, then press Request deletion on the confirmation screen.

Once the request is accepted, you will be signed out of the app. Deletion is normally completed within 30 days of the request.

Request deletion through the contact address below, stating the authentication method used to register (Google or Apple) and your email address.

To prevent impersonation, we may ask you to verify your identity, for example by matching your registration information.

• The Firebase Authentication account
• Records synced to the account, including saved events, favorites, check-ins and recommendation settings
• Event submissions, correction requests and images uploaded with those requests

• General event information published in the app is independent of your account and is not subject to deletion.
• Search history and unsynced records stored only on your device cannot be deleted from the server. Delete them using Clear search and browsing history in the app or by uninstalling the app.
• The minimum audit records needed for legal compliance or prevention of misuse are retained for up to 90 days, then deleted or processed so that individuals cannot be identified.
