Yonago Airport to Matsue

Direct buses and train connections

The airport bus to Matsue Station takes about 45 minutes and costs 1,200 yen for adults. By rail, take the JR Sakai Line to Yonago Station and change for Matsue. Include waiting times when choosing a route for your arrival flight.

Flight connections and arrival in Matsue

Buses leave the airport after baggage collection is complete; if a flight arrives early, they leave at the scheduled time. Connections beyond Matsue Station are not guaranteed. Add time for a local bus, walk or taxi to the castle town or your accommodation.

Matsue Station to Yonago Airport

For the return to the airport, check stop 9 at Matsue Station and the bus destination. Buses to Izumo Airport also use this station, so check carefully. Allow extra time for boarding, airport procedures and security.

Reservations and payment

The Matsue service does not take seat reservations, and you may be unable to board if it is full. Check with the operator which payment options are available: airport ticket machines, cash, digital tickets or contactless payment with supported cards.
