Visit Kumano’s shrine in Matsue’s Yakumo district.

Kumano Taisha stands in Yakumo, Matsue. It is separate from Wakayama’s Kumano Sanzan; choose transport to southern Matsue.

Grounds visits and participation in events have different conditions. Follow on-site guidance on photography and permitted ritual-viewing areas.

Check official bus and driving routes from Matsue Station. Plan journeys to Yaegaki Shrine or Tamatsukuri Onsen separately.

Check official reception arrangements for seals, shrine items and prayers. Grounds visiting hours are not identical to shrine-office hours.
