Use exhibits and local guidance
The free exhibits introduce the dunes' environment. Before walking, check the weather, wind and the area you plan to explore. This is a different facility from the Sand Museum, with separate admission arrangements.
Check tour and activity reception
Guided walks and activities have their own meeting points, booking requirements and operating conditions. The centre being open does not mean every activity is available without advance arrangements.
Getting here
Travel from Tottori Station or Tottori Airport towards the dunes. Head for the visitor centre by the dune entrance, distinguishing it from the Sand Museum and Sakyu Center entrances.
