For Ichibata Railway, check the timetables for Matsue-Shinjiko-Onsen, Kawato and Izumotaisha-mae. If taking JR to Izumoshi, check the onward bus or other connection separately. Verify the applicable dates of any special festival timetable.
Kawato is the junction for the Taisha branch. Whether you need to change depends on the service, so check your chosen train. For the return trip, also plan travel from your arrival station in Matsue to your accommodation.
