Kofu extends along Daisen's southern side, with views from Kagikake Pass, Kitanizawa Stream, Mitsukue's fields and Kagamiganaru Highland. Start at Ebi Station or a roadside station beside the Hino River and combine mountain scenery with food and a stay. Travel conditions differ between Ebi events and highland visits, so compare locations on the map.

Recommended sights

Plan Ebi's dining and town walks separately from Oku-Daisen outings. Kagikake Pass, Kitanizawa, Mitsukue and Kagamiganaru require a drive farther into the mountains, where some roads close in winter.

A walk among Oku-Daisen's forest and flowing water, opposite Everland Oku-Daisen. The town also introduces guided walks. Stay on walkable paths and wear shoes with good grip; the streamside is slippery, so do not force your way down to the water.
