Explore mythology and history beside Izumo Taisha.
This museum stands east of Izumo Taisha. It reopened in October 2026, with permanent displays on the shrine pillars, bronze objects and Izumo mythology.

出雲大社の宇豆柱や青銅器、出雲国風土記、神話映像などから島根の歴史と文化を紹介。2026年10月1日に改修後の再開を迎えた。企画展は別料金。
