Search using your departure and arrival stations

Tottori, Kurayoshi, Yonago, Matsue and Izumoshi are major stations on the San'in Main Line. Izumo-taisha-mae is a different station on the Ichibata Railway; reaching JR Izumoshi Station does not mean you have reached Izumo Taisha.

Even on the same main line, a single local train may not cover your entire journey. Some services require a change at Yonago or another station. Search for your destination and actual travel date.

Choose limited express or local services

Limited express services can shorten journeys and require a limited express ticket in addition to the basic fare. Check each train's stops and reserved or non-reserved seating, and compare with local-train routes.

Travel passes differ in eligible lines, trains and users. A JR pass does not necessarily cover Ichibata Railway or city buses; check the official conditions for the product you plan to buy.

Secure the final connection and return train

Check buses from the station to dunes, hot springs or shrines separately from railway timetables. Allow time to change and distinguish the station forecourt from the attraction's entrance.

Check your return train, the last bus back to the station and service disruptions first. Operator updates take priority for operating dates and changes caused by work or weather.
