A riverside town, the sea, a lake or a historic port: compare Tamatsukuri, Kaike, Misasa, Lake Togo and Yunotsu to find an onsen that suits your preferred setting and transport.

Compare Tamatsukuri and Misasa for a stroll among inns and footbaths. The stations are separate from the onsen towns, so check onward buses, taxis and your inn's shuttle conditions. Footbath hours and day-use bathing reception are different.

Check overnight and day-use conditions separately
An inn may offer accommodation without accepting day-use bathers on your chosen date. Check reservations, reception closing times, towels, extra charges and private-bath conditions with each facility. Without a car, choose your return service first and leave time to relax.
